I am an accomplished IT leader with over 15 years of experience in managing and leading technology initiatives, leading cross-functional teams, and driving strategic IT transformations. My expertise spans machine learning, small language models, RAGs, project management, and IaC automation, with a strong focus on delivering high-impact solutions and enhancing operational efficiency.

Over my 15+ year career in IT, I have consistently demonstrated leadership and innovation across various roles. 

At GEICO, I led the development of an automated, open-source network topology mapping tool using Python and Flask, significantly enhancing network management and visualization. My efforts in transitioning from MSPs to automation frameworks are projected to save $40M, showcasing my ability to implement cost-effective solutions.

I spearheaded network automation initiatives, built a high-performing team, and optimized software development processes to drive operational efficiency and scalability. My leadership in Network Reliability Engineering has been pivotal in integrating advanced technologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

During my tenure at the Michigan Senate, I engineered an automated self-service portal, reducing vulnerabilities by 78% and decreasing risk by 58% through strategic technology implementations. I championed ITIL frameworks, improving service delivery and achieving high certification rates. My work in deploying an IT ERP system streamlined critical IT processes and demonstrated impactful financial stewardship.

At Tech Mahindra, I managed the seamless transition of IT functions from Jackson National Life, and at Jackson I developed advanced data analytics and reporting tools, and advocated for LEAN and Agile methodologies. In my role as Lead Client Software Engineer at Jackson, I integrated HPC workloads into the virtualized environment, created a comprehensive CMDB, and led automation initiatives to enhance deployment processes and CI/CD pipeline effectiveness.

My career also includes significant contributions as a Developer at CPSI, where I developed and maintained critical healthcare system EMR modules. 

As an IT PO3 with the U.S. Coast Guard I helped established essential network infrastructure during major response operations.

Throughout my career, I have been recognized for my ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive strategic IT transformations, and deliver high-impact solutions. My technical expertise, combined with my leadership and project management skills, enables me to consistently achieve operational excellence and foster team growth.

Technically, I am proficient in machine learning and AI, and skilled in programming languages such as Python and SQL. My toolset includes Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Remedy for project and service management, as well as Tableau and PowerBI for data visualization and analytics. 

I have extensive knowledge of ITIL, DevOps, Agile, and Lean methodologies, which I utilize to streamline operations and enhance service delivery. My expertise in automation, particularly with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, allows me to drive operational efficiency and scalability in IT environments.

My leadership capabilities include crisis management, equity-focused and transformative leadership, as well as expertise in change management and continuous improvement. I am adept at managing vendors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, ensuring cohesive and productive collaborations. 

My experience in contractor management and project management has equipped me to handle complex projects with precision and efficiency.

I am currently working on completing a Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from UT Austin.
